M.F.Kiran Kumar of Kiran Maruti Care, Visakhapatnam made a 12-seater long van out of two Maruti vans in 2005. He cut the rear door of one van and attached the shell of the other to it, making a single stretched vehicle. The body length was increased from 9.5 ft to 15.4 ft while body weight was up by only 200 kg. The van runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as fuel and is fitted with a DVD player and eight speakers.
