Our ancestors said long back that this entire universe is filled with Love. This universe is created by love and has been brought up by love.
GOD is Love, so there is divinity in love. The pure and selfless love makes man equal to or just like God. There is nothing more powerful than love on this earth, because love is the truth and eternal.
Love has got that inherent quality and capacity of providing bliss (eternal joy) to us. It is true that no one can live without love. Hence we should languish for Love and live for Love.
People use the word Love for sentimentality. Love is the (magic) wand in the hand of a devotee, with that he can do miracles. Love is the instrument for liberation.
Love is the golden way to obtain the grace and holy things from God. Love suppresses non-violence, selfishness, immorality, injustice and unrighteousness. Love that does deceive or disappoint any body is the real love.
Now a days, the word love is being used widely and it is losing its real sense.
Lovers speak of love routinely which is most of the times is attraction that usually exist between two opposite sexes, (as opposite poles attract each other). Often love is used for lust which is also a temporary phenomenon and there is no holiness in it. Lust is a worldly thing and is often business type.
Real love is not an empty expression or vague thing, but it is genuine and purposeful. Love and wisdom are the two sides of a coin. Man must have both.
True love never demands monetary benefits or gratitude in return from the other side.
The famous quotation is "Love thy neighbors as you love thyself’’.
A prayer to God without sincere love is like eye without tears. Compassion is Love in action. So every human being should have compassionate heart. Man is the ambassador of God on this earth. Hence must have God-like qualities.
Love promotes culture, tradition, self-help, equanimity, charity among men in the society. Through love only, we can reach GOD without much difficult, as God is the embodiment of Love.The purpose of our birth on this earth is Self-realization and with the help of love we should attain the Divine nature. See God in every human being.
It is clearly mentioned in the scriptures that "our body is the temple of God’’. So man should lead a holy and purposeful life as long as we live in this universe of God.
This is an art of living.
